The Best Lunch Restaurants In San Fernando Valley

Like other reviewers, I also attempted this place thanks to a Groupon and was essentially terribly pleased. Three of us dined there for lunch and although it isn't the fastest place to grab a bite and won't fit into a lunch "hour", it's worth using the time.

We returned lately with one extra colleague and had an acceptable lunch, though we probably did must wait for our to-go boxes and check. To be fair, they were much busier this time.

We ordered the calamari appetiser both times. This is the reason it is a requirement to go in brief. A definitely pleasant dish, the calamari are stirfried in garlic and tomatoes and spinach, with not a speck of deep-fry in sight.

I ordered Spaghetti con Abruzzese, which I'd order again. The sausage was striking, but the pasta was a little overcooked. Therefore I'd order a different dish with this sausage.

During my prior visit, I ordered the gnocchi which is garnished with a cream sauce. The gnocchi were completely prepared but the cream sauce was a little heavy. I'd order them again if they'd serve them with a lighter sauce.

Overall, I like this eateria and would return with some tiny menu adjustments under consideration.

La Finestra is fresh, straight forward Italian food. It's a traditional, hid treasure in the valley. Bring yourself back to Italy with a correct Pizza Margarita, the sauce, cheese and dough are in perfect balance. It is a great neighborhood spot.

Awesomely thin, thin crust pizza that does not get limp in the middle and tastes like you ought to be hanging out in Naples. We received a chit from restaurant com so we basically decided to check this place. It's over the road from Corbin Bowl. It is a standard family owned little place with fabric covered tables and soft lighting. Service was ok. Ravioli came with a lemon oil brushed over it which we didnt care for. Caprese salad was standard. The real highlight was the pizza which wasn't only delish even though it was also cheap. Join up to their e-mail alerts so that you can get chits. They have really great daily deals.
