Where is Nuevo Vallarta?
Nuevo Vallarta is a place in Mexico. However, if you get your atlas out and search for a place by this name, you are unlikely to find it anywhere in Mexico, if your atlas is an older edition. You will find the place in any new atlas, though. Regions such as Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya have grown so much over the years and extended their boundaries into Nayarit that new nomenclature is being used now and will be continued similarly in the future. Nuevo Vallarta is the name given to the first region that is a hybrid between Riviera Maya and Nayarit, which is also going to be known as Riviera Nayarit. This region is to the north and west of Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta.
